- Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC): $2,400-$9,600 per qualifying hire
- Federal Bonding Program: free fidelity bonds for at-risk new hires
- Graduates complete 190 hours of PTCB-aligned training
- No placement fee for hiring Allied Health Academy graduates
Federal employer incentives
Many employers leave funding and credits on the table. These are the incentive tracks available when hiring and training through workforce programs.
Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC)
A federal tax credit for hiring individuals from specific target groups. The credit ranges from $2,400 to $9,600 per qualifying new hire and is claimed on your federal tax return.
Federal Bonding Program
Free fidelity bonds issued to employers who hire at-risk workers. Bonds cover theft, forgery, larceny, and embezzlement -- at no cost to the employer.
Registered Apprenticeship
Pharmacies that become training sites can apply for Registered Apprenticeship status through the U.S. Department of Labor. This unlocks additional grant funding and signals to job seekers that your pharmacy invests in development.
The workforce problem we are solving together
Alabama pharmacies are operating short-staffed. Demand for certified pharmacy technicians is outpacing supply, and the gap keeps widening. Untrained teams increase error risk, slow operations, and create compliance pressure.
Allied Health Academy exists to close that gap. Every employer partnership adds certified, job-ready technicians to the Alabama workforce.
